Telehealth policy deadlines tracker

The telehealth rules with an expiration date — DEA’s telemedicine prescribing flexibilities, Medicare telehealth waivers and state payment-parity laws — with the current status, the legal authority and a countdown to each deadline.

No policies yet. Records appear here as soon as they are verified.

Methodology

Data sources

What we include

  • Federal and state telehealth policies that are temporary, expiring or pending a decision with a known date.
  • Each policy’s status is the one in force on the “status as of” date shown.

How we verify

  • Expiration dates are taken from the public law, final rule or agency notice cited in the record.
  • Timelines link each extension or change to its source document.

Known gaps

  • Countdowns are computed when the page is generated and show the date they were calculated.
  • State policies are included selectively.

Update frequency: Checked at least weekly, and on the day any extension or rule is published.
