Accuracy matters more than speed. When we get something wrong, we fix it and say so.
How to request a correction
Email corrections@telelaunched.com with:
- The article URL or title
- The passage you believe is wrong
- The correct information and a source we can check (public URL, document, filing)
We also accept tips about errors via contact@telelaunched.com, but corrections@ is the dedicated path.
What we correct
We correct factual errors: wrong dates, names, figures, attributions, or misstatements of what a document says. We also clarify language that is technically accurate but likely to mislead a careful reader.
We do not treat differences of opinion, disagreeable framing, or preference for different emphasis as corrections. We may update a story with new developments; that is an update, not necessarily a correction.
How we mark fixes
- Minor typos that do not change meaning may be fixed quietly.
- Substantive errors get a correction note on the article stating what was wrong and what changed.
- If an error is severe enough that the piece cannot stand, we may unpublish it and explain why.
Timing
We aim to review correction requests promptly during business days. Complex claims that require document review may take longer. We will not rush a fix that creates a new error.
